투자 전략
"포트폴리오의 투자목적은 주로 미국 발행인의 주식 증권에 투자함으로써 장기적인 자본 성장을 추구하는 것 입니다. 포트폴리오는 집합투자업자의 판단으로 높은 이익성장을 달성할 것으로 보이는 제한된 수의 신중하게 선정된 미국의 우량 대기업의 주식 증권(보통주식, 보통주식으로 전환가능한 증권, 보통주식에 대한 인수권을 표창하는 권리와 워런트)에 집중적으로 투자합니다. 정상적인 시장 상황에서 포트폴리오는 40-60개 기업에 투자하며 집합투자업자가 높이 평가한 25여개 회사들에 대한 투자는 통상 포트폴리오 순자산의 약70%를 구성합니다. 정상적인 상황에서 포트폴리오는 순자산의 80%을 그 등록사무소를 미국에 두고 있거나 미국에서 경제활동의 상당한 부분을 이행하는 회사들이 발행한 주식 증권에 투자합니다. 따라서 포트폴리오는 대부분의 주식 투자 펀드의 경우와는 다르게 상대적으로 소수의 집중적으로 조사된 회사들에 자산의 대부분을 투자합니다. 포트폴리오는 소형주 투자에 일반적으로 수반되는 변동성은 줄이면서 장기간에 걸쳐 자본을 축적하고자 하는 투자자들에게 적합합니다. 집합투자업자의 견해로 적합하다고 판단될 경우, 포트폴리오는 전환우선주와 전환사채, 우량 채권과 사채, 우선주, 미국 정부가 발행, 창출하거나 완전 보증하는 증권과 같은 여타 종류의 유가증권 및 은행인수 어음, 국내 예금증서, 기타 만기가 1년 미만인 부채 증서와 같은 기타 우량 단기 증권에도 투자할 수 있으며, 현금은 보조 수단으로 보유할 수 있습니다. 포트폴리오는 전문 우량 금융기관과 환매조건부채권매매계약을 체결할 수도 있습니다."
