Earlier, GD founded the international equity department at Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley and earlier served as a vice president and international equity portfolio manager for Scudder, Stevens & Clark. While there, he also co-managed a closed-end country fund. GD began his investment industry career in 1982. GD earned a bachelor's degree in religious studies from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in business administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of CFA Virginia and CFA Institute.
