He has served as the Lead Portfolio Manager on Small Cap Value since 2002 and co-Portfolio Manager on Mid Cap Value since 2014. Prior to LMCG, Mr. Vingers served as a Vice President and senior portfolio manager for American Century Investments and a valuation analyst for the Hawthorne Company. He holds a BA from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mr. Vingers is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.

Prior to joining LMCG in 2005, Peter spent over six years at State Street Research & Management Co., where he served as lead portfolio manager for the firm’s Mid Cap Value and Large Cap Value teams and was Chief Investment Officer of the Value strategies. Prior to joining SSRM, Peter founded and served as lead portfolio manager for the American Century Value Fund, VP Value Fund, and the American Century Equity Income Fund. Peter spent eight years at NBD Bank, where he founded the NBD Intrinsic Fund, and six years as a member of the founding team of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority’s Abu Dhabi-based U.S. equity investment capabilities. Peter is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and holds an MS in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
