Prior to joining the firm, he spent 10 years as the head of fixed income for Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Asset Management, where he was responsible for $50 billion of global fixed income assets. He started his investment career in 1981 at Bank of America, where he served as a fixed income economist and global fixed income portfolio manager. He was originally recruited to Morgan Grenfell as a global fixed income portfolio manager in 1985. A graduate of King's College, Cambridge University, Mr. Kelson earned an M.A. in economics. He also has an M.Sc. in econometrics from the London School of Economics.
